Staff Accountant Responsibilities * The Staff Accountant will prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items. * Assist with year-end reporting, financial consolidations, and audit preparation. * Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation. * Analyze financial data and maintain accurate general ledger records. * The Staff Accountant will utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain reports using PivotTables and VLOOKUPs. * The Staff Accountant will collaborate with financial analysts and the accounting team to support daily accounting operations. Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant Role * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred. * Previous experience with account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support. * Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop strongly preferred. * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs . * Team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.
