Ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys working independently, ensuring compliance, and partnering across departments.Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Accountant Role:Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, including union payroll requirements.Manage multi-state payroll, tax withholdings, garnishments, and compliance reporting.Administer payroll-related benefits and 401(k) deductions and reconciliations.Process Accounts Payable invoices and maintain vendor payment records.Utilize Acumatica to support payroll, AP processing, reporting, and record management.Qualifications for the Payroll Accountant:Experience processing union and multi-state payroll in a high-volume environment.Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage laws, and 401(k) administration.Experience with Accounts Payable and invoice processing; Acumatica experience is highly desirable.This onsite opportunity is well-suited for a detail-oriented accounting professional seeking a stable role with a combination of payroll ownership and accounting responsibilities.
