Electrical AssemblyElectrical Assembly Technician is needed for a manufacturing facility in Jackson, MI. This is a 1st shift opportunity. Will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and debugging electrical and control systems according to detailed schematics and specifications.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Electrical Assembly Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)The position focuses on assembling, wiring, testing, and debugging electrical systems while following engineering drawings and safety standards.Gather parts, drawings, and documentation for electrical and controls assembly.Assemble electrical components, wiring, and systems per schematics and specifications.Perform testing, quality checks, I/O checks, and machine debugging.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Participate in continuous improvement efforts.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.Electrical Assembly Qualifications:2-3 years experienceValid driver's licenseAbility to read, write, and interpret engineering drawings and schematicsAbility to read a tape measure and use hand and power tools (saws, drills, belt sanders)Basic math skills and ability to distinguish wire colorsConfidence working with machinery; low and high voltage experience is a plusPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
