Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Role Overview: Provide high-quality direct nursing care in a Med Surg department, executing physician orders and clinical protocols to ensure patient safety and evidence-based treatment. Act as the central clinical coordinator, managing care plan implementation and providing real-time updates on patient conditions. Facilitate smooth patient transitions by assessing discharge needs and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care aligned with physician directives. Coordinate care activities within the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient management. Assess and prepare patients for discharge, supporting recovery and continuity of care. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse licensure from the relevant state board prior to employment. BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or transfer. Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
