Electrical Engineer I

You'll play a key role in developing engineering documentation, commissioning machine applications, and providing technical expertise to enhance automation systems. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING The Electrical Engineer I will provide technical support to senior engineers, research and develop new electrical systems and components, and troubleshoot/ repair electrical equipment according to Leitner-Poma's requirements. This includes PLCs, HMIs, and AC drives and motors. The Electrical Engineer I may also assist in project management, documentation, and testing procedures. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $29.00 - $32.37 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5 years' experience with Microsoft Office. - 3 years' design background, including Electrical CAD systems and database management. - 2 years' experience in integrated automation/information systems in a manufacturing environment. - 2 years' experience with Rockwell Software. - 2 years' experience with DC and/or AC drives and motors. - Exposure to National Electrical Code (NEC) and Arc-Flash (NFPA-70).
