Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Setting: School-Based Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavioral and instructional support to students in a school-based setting. Working under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA, the RBT will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs, support classroom instruction, and promote positive behavioral outcomes. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant services. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and ABA programs as directed by a BCBA/BCaBA Provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support within classroom environments Collect, track, and maintain accurate data on student behavior and progress Support students in skill acquisition, social development, and classroom participation Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques as needed Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Maintain professional communication with school staff and clinical supervisors Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all applicable ethical and regulatory standards Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner Perform additional duties as assigned Supervision Reports directly to a BCBA/BCaBA No supervisory responsibilities Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Completion of a 40-hour RBT training program (or willingness to complete prior to start) Successful completion of: RBT Competency Assessment RBT Certification Exam Ability to adhere to the RBT Ethics Code Prior experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred Position Requirements Strong behavioral management and classroom support skills Ability to follow structured programs and ABA protocols with fidelity Reliable attendance and punctuality (essential for success in this role) Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Flexibility to work across grade levels and classroom settings Professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport with students and staff #J-18808-Ljbffr The Judge Group
