Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:-

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for daily customer invoicing , month-end audit support , tracking non-invoiced work orders, and routine financial reporting . Works closely with internal departments to ensure accurate billing, timely invoice processing, and resolution of discrepancies , with occasional customer interaction

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices using ERP system

Verify POs, contracts, shipping documents, and order entries before billing

Reconcile invoice discrepancies and coordinate corrections with teams

Support month-end close activities (cutoffs, accruals, reconciliations)

Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, tax, and regulations

Assist with internal and external audits

Identify and support process improvements and automation in invoicing

Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

Identify opportunities to improve invoicing processes, automation, and data quality

KEY REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma required; associates in accounting/finance preferred

2+ years Accounts Receivable / invoicing / accounting experience

Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)

Experience with ERP systems and order-to-cash process

Strong attention to detail and accuracy (critical)

Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Must be willing to work overtime and at least 2 Saturdays/month

Strong communication and coordination skills across teams

PREFERRED

Experience with Power BI or reporting tools

Background in manufacturing / distribution / government contracting

Knowledge of billing compliance, tax, or export controls
