Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Lewiston, ME. This position involves providing urgent and emergent care to a diverse patient population in a Level 2 trauma center. The role requires experienced RNs skilled in managing a wide range of clinical scenarios, including dysrhythmias and ventilated patients, supporting a busy pediatric to geriatric unit.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 6:45 p.m. 7:15 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); Experience in non-trauma emergency departments; Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; Experience with ventilated patients; 2 years of relevant clinical experience; Located in Lewiston, ME
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level 2 trauma center, chest pain center, primary stroke center; Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage ventilated patients; Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Additional Information: The unit features four critical care bays and utilizes advanced tele-nursing technology. EMR systems include EPIC and SBAR. The patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics, with an emphasis on managing diverse, complex cases in a community setting.
