Applicants should have a strong knowledge base, motivation to learn, and ambition to work in a fast-paced team environment.As a Neurology Veterinary Assistant, you will:Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core valuesDischarge, perform call backs and refill medicationsClient education, gathering histories and communicating that to the ClinicianPerform physical exam; accurately count heart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate and effort.Understand normal vital parametersComfortable with IVC placement and venipunctureSet up intravenous fluids.Operate all brands of intravenous fluid pumps and can troubleshoot errors.Restrain patients during consults and during diagnosticsWhy BluePearl?Our passion is pets.
