Accounting RepresentativeMon-Friday 9:00-5:00pm$18.00-$24.00Demonstrates knowledge and support for the GD ethos, SR's standards, policies and procedures, confidentiality standards, and code of ethical behavior. • Maintains a positive and professional work environment by fostering an environment of continuous improvement, creative thinking and best practices, responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers. • Maintains work procedures and processes that support company and departmental standards, procedures, and strategic directives by reviewing the department procedures process. • Responsible and accountable for meeting external and/or internal customer needs. Proactively communicates with internal/external customers to identify expectations and satisfaction levels. Issues of concern are recognized and addressed quickly and effectively. • Maintains or processes one or more recurring (daily, weekly, monthly, and intermittent) accounting tasks necessary to keep the Accounting Department running on a day-to-day basis. Examples include: ü Actively monitors and maintains Accounts Payable inbox and timely addresses time-sensitive requests for the organization (Shared Resources and Corporate Office). ü Priorities and prepares incoming invoices within Oracle for processing, and CashPro as needed. ü Processes accounts payable (AP), garnishments, PeopleSoft deductions, and ACH/WIRE requests; posts AP vouchers as well as prints and mails/emails checks to requestor. ü Prepares general ledger (GL) journal entries, inter-division invoices (IDIs), reconciliations, etc.Professional Qualifications Required: High school graduate or equivalent. • Ability to understand general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll. • Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Excellent attention to detail. • Professional verbal and written communication skills.Why work for Qualified Staffing? -We offer a fantastic benefits package to all our employees.
