In this role, you will harness the convenience of remote therapy to deliver essential mental health services to adults throughout the state. Work Environment\nThis role operates in a remote telehealth setting, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your own home while being equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure client engagement and privacy. You will be part of a dynamic team that meets regularly via video calls to discuss case management, share insights, and foster a collaborative spirit among colleagues. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a structured work week tailored to your professional needs.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients, focusing on their unique mental health challenges and needs. \n
- Perform comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments to inform treatment planning and goal setting. \n
- Deliver education on coping strategies and social skills, anger management, and the management of risk behaviors, including self-injurious thoughts or physical aggression. \n
- Assist clients and their caretakers in developing effective decision-making skills to address behavioral challenges in home settings. \n
- Collaborate consistently with multidisciplinary teams, including other therapists, case managers, and community service providers, to offer cohesive support for clients and their families. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, including intake forms, treatment plans, and DAP notes (Data, Assessment, Plan). \n
- Participate in monthly staff meetings and submit weekly paperwork to ensure compliance and enhance service delivery. \n
Your initial focus will be on working with a diverse array of adults facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. As part of our mission, you will also take on clients from unique backgrounds and those with exceptional needs, enabling you to make a significant impact on their lives through tailored, empathetic counseling.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field, with appropriate licensure as LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW. \n
- Clinical mental health training and a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques. \n
- Previous field experience working clinically with adults, showcasing your ability to address complex psychological needs effectively. \n
- Ability to create treatment plans, set treatment goals, and maintain progress notes that align with best practices. \n
- Familiarity with various counseling methodologies, including CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response. \n
- Proficiency in using the DSM-V for assessments and diagnostics. \n
- Strong skills in providing positive behavior support and crisis intervention strategies. \n
- Submission of a resume, master’s degree evidence, and a copy of your licensure certification are required for application. \n
While not mandatory, experience with specific populations, such as those with co-occurring disorders or complex trauma history, is highly advantageous. Additionally, a working knowledge of teletherapy best practices and tools will enhance your capability to deliver exceptional care.
Compensation and Benefits\nCompassionate Counseling, LLC offers a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
