Dishwasher Full-time

Dishwasher | Location: 1099 W. Front Street, Boise, ID Compensation: $19–$20 | Full-Time | Monday–Friday 7:30 am–4:00 pm Free garage parking in downtown Boise! Your Impact As a Dishwasher you will be essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities include washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, supporting the kitchen team with general cleaning and restocking duties, and keeping the overall kitchen area organized. Reporting Relationships Reports to: Executive Steward, Sous Chef, Executive Chef. Essential Accountabilities Empty the check box bin when needed. Set up and clear the pot washing area (3‑sink area). Check tray‑belt and clear it if needed. Check and fill dish machine. Check and record wash/rinse temperatures. Wash soiled and dirty items. Air‑dry all washable equipment on racks; never touch dirty equipment before cleaning hands. Sort, stack, and carry clean equipment to proper storage areas. Wash front‑of‑house garbage‑can lids in the dish machine. Sanitize stainless‑steel area, tray line, and tray belt. Wash floor mats and re‑rack mats on mat holders. Run the dish machine filters through the machine. Shut down, drain, and clean dish machine jets and screens; rinse the machine inside and out with a hose and hot water. Remove trash and cardboard to the dumpster. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements Knowledge of: Reading labels on chemicals. Workplace safety procedures. Department and OSHA guidelines. Skills in: Learning to operate equipment and perform repetitive tasks. Heavy lifting. Standing for long periods. Speaking, reading, and understanding. Following written and oral instructions. Delivering friendly and efficient customer service. Speaking clearly and presenting information orally. Following directions and completing assigned tasks. Adhering to time schedules for meal preparation and serving. Experience and Education Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Experience with catering, fast food service, and prep work or other food handling experience. Experience working in kitchen facilities that provide meals to large groups daily.
