P-Physical Therapist Assistant

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric Salary Range: $28-$30 per hour Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our geriatric population. This position offers a competitive salary range of $28-$30 per hour, with the opportunity for increased hours as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working with older adults and a passion for improving their quality of life. Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans for geriatric patients
• Assist with exercises, activities, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new techniques and research in geriatric physical therapy

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with geriatric patients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for physical therapy services in a geriatric setting
