MRI Technologist

Schedule: Nights, 10-hour shifts, weekend shift

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• 1 year of recent GE MRI experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT Certification (AMRIT not accepted)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of routine and specialized MRI procedures for patients of all ages in different care settings.
• Verifying physician orders and consulting with radiologists as necessary.
• Prep patients for exams and provide education and instruction about MRI procedures.
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and age-related technical protocols.
• Evaluate MRI images for technical quality and assist radiologists as required.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including performing equipment warm-up, calibration, and safety checks.
