Inventory Coordinator

Laboratory Sample Coordinator
Duration: 0-3+ Months (Possible extension or conversion) Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday Interview Type: In-person Role Overview: Receive, track, disposition, and distribute laboratory samples across sites or ship to external facilities. Maintain accurate sample inventory and documentation. Coordinate sample movement, storage, and shipments.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, document, and track incoming laboratory samples in electronic sample management systems.
- Verify sample information, ensure data accuracy, and maintain complete chain-of-custody documentation.
- Process, organize, and route samples for testing, storage, and shipment based on project requirements.
- Coordinate the delivery of samples to internal laboratories and designated storage locations.
- Prepare, package, and ship samples to external testing facilities in accordance with applicable handling and temperature-control requirements.
- Receive and distribute external sample shipments, ensuring accurate tracking and timely delivery.
- Maintain sample inventory records and support compliance with laboratory quality and documentation standards.
