Mobile Phlebotomist East side of Columbus, Marysville, Jackson, Athens, Portsmouth, Gallipolis, Ironton, Chillicothe, Ohio About the Job If you are interested in working for yourself as an independent contractor, Affiliated Medical Services, LLC. is looking for a Part‑time Mobile Phlebotomist. Job Details The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKG, and medical history. The candidate will travel to the patient's location for appointments. Paid per appointment/event; this is not an hourly or salary‑paid position. Bi‑Weekly Pay. Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment. Responsibilities Travel to specified locations to obtain samples as required. Gather mandatory information from patients and verify their identities. Obtain vitals, blood, urine, medical history, and EKGs. Accurately label all samples. Maintain accurate patient records, including detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results. Minimum Requirements Proven experience as a phlebotomist. Valid driver's license. Valid auto insurance. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Knowledge regarding HIPAA law. Detail‑oriented. Professional, responsible, and self‑starter with excellent attention to detail. Reliable transportation is a must. #J-18808-Ljbffr
