Join Our Team as a Family Medicine Physician

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Family Medicine Physician to become a part of our Primary Care team in Whitehall, MI.

Opportunity Highlights

• Whitehall is a picturesque lakeside community located in northern Muskegon County, just 5 miles from Lake Michigan and approximately 1 hour from downtown Grand Rapids.
• Join the outpatient department of a local hospital, providing full-spectrum family medicine in a rural environment.
• Our office operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the physician expected to work 4 to 4.5 days per week, enjoying the flexibility of having either Fridays or Tuesdays off.
• In addition to primary care services, the facility offers on-site access to laboratory services, urgent care, life counseling, and rehabilitation services.
• You will collaborate with a dedicated care team consisting of 2 physicians, 1 physician assistant, and 1 nurse practitioner.
• Call responsibilities are shared with nearby clinics in Hart, Shelby, and Ludington.
• There is also an opportunity to mentor residents, medical students, and fellows.

Qualifications

• We welcome applications from new graduates.
• Candidates must be board certified in their specialty or board eligible, with the expectation of obtaining board certification within 2 years of eligibility.
• A valid State of Michigan medical license is required upon employment.
• DEA license is necessary.
• BLS certification is required, with ongoing recertification.
