Location: Connersville, IN
Compensation: $28.00–$31.25 per hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:45am–5:00pm

Your impact in this role

Own the preventive care of production equipment and plant mechanical systems. Keep machinery aligned to OEM specs, catch issues early, and document your work, so uptime stays high and operators stay productive.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain a wide range of production machines and facility mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including pneumatic and hydraulic problems; replace worn or failed parts.
• Apply precision tools, test equipment, and hand tools to verify installation and alignment within OEM tolerances.
• Read and interpret mechanical prints, BOMs, and technical diagrams to guide work.
• Conduct minor fabrication: welding, operating a lathe and Bridgeport, and using powered saws.
• Perform all manufacturer-recommended oiling and lubrication cycles.
• Complete documentation in Maintenance Connection, including WR and PM entries.
• Use sonic leak detection to locate and repair compressed air leaks across equipment and the facility.
• Keep assigned areas clean and organized to maintain a safe workplace.
• Assist with tooling, changeovers, and equipment startups as needed.

What you’ll need to succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• In-depth understanding of mechanical systems and components.
• Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for mechanical repairs.
• Certified or experienced operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Effective communicator with sound judgment and solid math skills.
