Rotate on one of 3 ACS services. Trauma and EGS is 5 days of coverage M-F, SCC is Mon-Sun + Trauma backup.

Patients per day Trauma/EGS 35-40, ICU 12-17.

We are looking for an experienced acute care surgeon to assist with coverage of dedicated trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care services in a teaching hospital. The candidate should be comfortable with the full gamut of patient care spanning these three services. Experience in robotic surgery and rib plating is a plus, but not required. All three services are covered by residents and APPs. Trauma and EGS service weeks are Monday through Friday day shifts from 0700-1700. SCC service weeks are 7 days covering the ICU and providing trauma backup coverage. SCC service weeks include weekend coverage for the trauma floor and ICU. Robotics a plus. BC General surgery & Surgical critical care. Specialty certification ATLS.
