Description: We are a complete Cath Lab utilizing Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon. We provide complete Cardiac and Peripheral Services. The procedures include: Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, and Atherectomy. Carotid diagnostic and stenting, along with peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures including Atherectomy. Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy are also performed. The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist will work an 8-hour day shift and rotate call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in the various devices used in the Cath Lab, such as the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices, is required. The facility contains two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms. McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and the McKesson Hemodynamic System are utilized. The applicant will rotate between scrubbing and circulating procedures, which includes operating the x-ray equipment. Additional duties include helping with the pre and post area, transporting, and assisting with inventory management.
