Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology or related specialty
• Valid State Medical License and IMLC acceptance
• Proven expertise in ERCP and EUS procedures
• DEA certification for prescribing controlled substances
• Strong proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior inpatient service experience in hospital environments
• Additional procedural certifications or training in advanced endoscopy
• Experience working with diverse patient demographics

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience in gastroenterology, specifically with ERCP and EUS procedures
• Previous hospital-based practice experience is highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Must complete all required vaccines and adhere to infection control protocols
• Willing to obtain licensure in North Carolina (Winston-Salem area) and facilitate licensing if necessary
• Travel reimbursement provided for assigned hospital coverage shifts
• Commitment to scheduled weekdays (Monday - Friday, 8A - 5P), no weekends or call responsibilities
