We’re hiring a hands-on Engineering Leader to own and scale a critical cloud-based healthcare product, leading a team of 10–15 engineers while driving both technical direction and delivery. This is not a “people manager only” role. We’re looking for someone who still operates as a technical authority—leading architecture, guiding code quality, and setting engineering standards—while also owning team performance, hiring, and execution. Meaningful impact Ownership Ability to shape technical direction Excellent Benefits Career growth Job Details What You’ll Do Lead and develop a team of 10–15 engineers (full-stack, backend, DevOps) Own technical direction, architecture, and delivery for a modern SaaS platform Drive code quality, design reviews, and engineering standards Partner closely with Product, Design, and Customer teams Manage full team lifecycle: hiring, performance, growth, and retention Balance feature delivery, scalability, and technical debt Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.) Implement AI across: Code generation Testing Documentation Define best practices for secure and responsible AI usage Measure impact on velocity, quality, and developer experience Must have Skills: 10+ years in software engineering 5+ years managing teams of 8+ engineers Proven experience as a hands-on technical leader (not just a facilitator) Strong cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Background in SaaS / distributed systems / APIs / microservices Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.) Ability to own a product end-to-end, not just contribute Nice to have: Experience building cloud-native healthcare platforms Startup or high-growth environment experience *Tech Stack: Backend: .NET, Java, Node.js, Python Frontend: React (or similar) Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP DevOps: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes Architecture: Microservices, APIs, distributed systems Interested in hearing more?
