Enterprise Architect (Retail) - Product-to-Market (Onsite - Pleasanton, CA)

We are seeking an Enterprise Architect – Product-to-Market (P2M) for our global retail client. In this role, you will support the design, assessment, and evolution of the Product-to-Market (P2M) ecosystem in alignment with integrated business planning and supply chain strategy. This is a 40-hour per week, 12-month contract role (extension possible), an onsite position (5 days/week) in Pleasanton, CA. Working hours (8 AM - 5 PM PT). This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered. Responsibilities Assess the current P2M landscape and vendor capability to identify gaps, redundancies, and modernization opportunities across Line Plan, Buy Plan, Visual Mapping & Space Planning, Size & Pack, Allocation. Develop architecture blueprints and capability roadmaps that align P2M investments with business outcomes. Provide guidance on composable patterns, API-first integrations, and data flow design across marketing platforms. Advise on Agentic AI-powered P2M use cases including predictive segmentation, next-best-action, personalization, and content automation. Partner with P2M, Engineering, and Data teams to evaluate vendors, define integration patterns, and support platform decisions. Contribute to architecture reviews and governance for P2M investments and platform consolidations. Produce clear documentation, architecture diagrams, decision frameworks, and recommendations aligned to team standards. Requirements 10+ years of experience in Product-to-Market (P2M) and Supply Chain architecture. Experience in Retail, including Fashion/Apparel and strong skill set in Product-to-Market within Retail is a must. Hands-on experience in merchandising planning, specifically around Line Planning, Buy Planning, Allocation, Consumer Insights, Visual Mapping, Space Planning, and Sizing & Packing. Strong knowledge of cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven integration patterns. Experience with AI/ML applied to marketing, personalization, propensity modeling, and audience intelligence. Able to translate complex P2M concepts into business value for executive audiences. Familiarity with Unified Modeling Language (UML) is preferred. Familiarity with Agentic AI or LLM applications in P2M automation or employee engagement is preferred. Exposure to composable P2M and MACH architecture principles is preferred.
