Purchasing CoordinatorAs our Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and deriving purchase order schedules based off production plans to account for product movement. Additionally, will maintain insight and vision of the purchase orders as they move through the supply chain, ensuring on time deliveries are achieved, and discrepancies are avoided.What the Job Entails:Reviews and processes purchase orders for itemsHelps develop and maintain demand drawn production schedulesAnalyzes inventories around the US to keep distributors in stockEstablishes and maintains relationships with suppliers to ensure order is fulfilled to specificationsCreates purchase ordersCoordinates with Logistics for order ready dates, bookings, and revisionsReviews outstanding orders to ensure timely processing timesCommunicates with Accounting to amend invoice and receiving discrepanciesAudits issued purchase orders for accuracyAudits purchased order delivery timelines to ensure future successAssists Sales, Compliance, Logistics, and Distribution with any purchasing or supplier requestsRequirements1+ years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree preferredGreat attention to detailExcellent organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environmentProficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office SuiteAbility to accurately enter data in a timely mannerAnalytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
