Member Experience Associate

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Member Experience Associate based in the United States.

This is a seasonal, remote opportunity supporting consumers during the busy Open Enrollment period. You’ll use your health insurance expertise to guide consumers through enrollment by phone and email. The role combines customer support, insurance knowledge, problem-solving, and careful documentation. You’ll assist with health, dental, and vision coverage while answering questions about eligibility and benefits. The environment is fast-paced and high-volume, requiring professionalism, sound judgment, and attention to detail. You’ll work with enrollment platforms, CRM tools, and established processes to resolve issues efficiently. Accountabilities

Provide knowledgeable, efficient, and professional support to consumers through phone and email.

Guide consumers through health, dental, and vision insurance enrollment processes.

Answer questions related to eligibility, coverage, benefits, and enrollment requirements.

Help consumers navigate enrollment systems and resolve coverage or enrollment issues.

Use internal enrollment tools and workflows accurately and efficiently.

Follow up with consumers when additional information or action is required.

Document consumer interactions, actions, and resolutions accurately in Zendesk.

Follow established processes, compliance requirements, and service standards.

Provide phone and email coverage according to team schedules and changing business needs.

Maintain composure, accuracy, and professionalism while managing a high volume of consumer inquiries.

Requirements

Active insurance license required.

Fluency in both Spanish and English.

Experience working with Healthcare.gov and/or state-based health insurance marketplaces, such as Covered California.

Previous experience assisting consumers with health insurance enrollment or coverage.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain insurance information clearly.

Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable working in a high-volume customer support setting.

Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple technology systems, platforms, and workflows.

Experience with Zendesk or a similar CRM/support platform is preferred.

Candidates with 5+ active state insurance licenses are preferred.

Experience with ACA individual-market enrollment, as well as dental and vision insurance, is a plus.

Benefits

Compensation:

$33.00 per hour.

Employment type:

Seasonal W-2 employment.

Schedule:

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST.

Work arrangement:

Fully remote within the United States.

Overtime:

Non-exempt and overtime eligible; additional hours may be available or required during peak periods based on business needs.

Seasonal assignment:

Employment begins October 12, 2026, with assignments concluding in phases as Open Enrollment activity decreases. Individual assignments may end on December 30, 2026, January 15, 2027, or February 5, 2027, depending on business and staffing needs.
