Associate Market Clinical Director

Position Summary We’re ChenMed, a physician‑led primary care organization that is a leading full‑risk Medicare Advantage provider. This transitional role serves as a foundation toward becoming a center clinical P&L leader (Senior Medical Director) and requires prior leadership experience to accelerate learning and delivery of the ChenMed clinical model. Key Responsibilities Provide independent care and oversight of outcomes for a panel of at least 300 risk‑adjusted patients, maintaining accountability for patient outcomes, cost‑effectiveness, and clinical quality. Lead health coaching, setting short‑ and long‑term goals, and frequently follow up to drive behavior change and improved health. Simplify and prioritize care plans to make behavior change actionable for patients and for the care team. Lead weekly center meetings: Super Huddle (SH) and Transforming Care Meeting (TCM), and support the Center Manager/General Manager in day‑to‑day clinical and business operations. Manage performance, mentor, and coach primary care physicians (PCPs) toward clinical and financial objectives, including panel size, admissions, hospital sick days, CG CAHPS, NPS, HEDIS, gap closures, and medical cost‑effectiveness measures. Coordinate care with hospitalists, transitional care teams, case managers, and other resources for patients unable to attend office visits. Participate in national director meetings, clinical leadership conferences, and risk/quality management programs. Support the recruitment and onboarding of patients and additional providers, and contribute to a positive culture that fosters teamwork and high performance. Progressively take on Senior Medical Director responsibilities, including mentoring PCPs, leading financial performance initiatives, and coaching leadership rounding independently. Compensation Pay Range: $257,939 – $368,485. Final compensation will depend on experience, education, location, and other factors. The position may also be eligible for bonuses or commissions.
