Location: Lake County, IL (in-person) Schedule: Full Time School Year: 2026/2027 Responsibilities Provide school‑based social work services to students in alignment with their IEPs and social‑emotional goals. Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans addressing students’ emotional, behavioral, and social needs. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments. Deliver individual and group counseling sessions promoting coping strategies, resilience, and positive peer interactions. Serve as a liaison between home, school, and community resources to ensure comprehensive student support. Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and professional development initiatives. Qualifications Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement required. Previous experience in a school or youth‑centered setting preferred. Strong understanding of social‑emotional development and behavioral support strategies. Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school teams.
