The Retail Junior Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing attentive service and supporting store operations. This position involves hands-on tasks such as assisting customers, managing inventory, supporting merchandising efforts, and ensuring smooth checkout processes. Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries and purchases to ensure positive interactions
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and organizing merchandise
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately at checkout
- Support merchandising and product displays to enhance store appearance
- Replenish stock on sales floors and backroom as needed
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization to uphold standards
- Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets
- Share product knowledge with customers to aid informed buying decisions
