About the Role Accounting Consultants (Engagement Directors) within Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) provide customized accounting support for larger clients on interim and project bases. This role offers flexibility, variety, and a balanced life. Responsibilities Serve as a high‑level interim or project‑based accounting resource in various industries on accounting, finance, tax, audit roles (e.g., Interim Controller, Financial Reporting Manager, Internal Audit Manager). Design and improve accounting processes such as monthly close, management and financial reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations. Take an active and hands‑on approach in executing client engagements. Travel as required, with opportunities to choose engagements to balance career and life. What You Will Need At least ten years of relevant work experience including public accounting; prior experience as CFO, Controller, SEC Reporting, or Internal Audit Manager preferred. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field. Mastery of Microsoft Excel and experience with various accounting software. CPA certification preferred but not required.
