Family Life Care, a Medicare/Medicaid Home Health Company, is looking for a Director of Nursing (RN) in its Orange Park office to oversee the delivery of high-quality and timely clinical services.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversees patient care services and nursing personnel at the agency to include coordinating referrals and patient care, assuring that patient needs are continually assessed, and assuring the development, implementation, and updates of the patient's individualized plan of care.
• Ensure that all clinical assessments, care plans, starting and resumption of care are completed with agency guidelines. Must be deadline driven.
• Hire, Train, Coach and Direct clinical staff in the performance of their clinical duties.
• Responsible for compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and processes relevant to home health.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and approach:

• Positive, approachable, and mentoring personality. Ability to identify, hire, educate and develop clinical staff. Must have clinical skills evaluation experience.
• Strong understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to home health, especially Medicare and Medicaid
• Experience with maintaining home health agency licensure, certification, and accreditation (ACHC)
• Experience with Medicare (OASIS), Medicaid and commercial insurance in the home health environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail
• Embrace technology and have experience with industry software such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems.

Position Requirements

• Three (3) years of clinical management, with at least 2 years in Medicare home health
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Good Standing in the State of Florida
