Job Summary for the Activity Aide position:

At Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking an energetic and dependable Activities Aide to join our dynamic Activities program. As an Activities Aide, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Job Responsibilities for the Activity Aide position:

• Assist the Activities Director in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents, including arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and social events

• Develop and lead activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents

• Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, therapy, and social services, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care

• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback

• Performs other duties as assisigned

Requirements for the Activity Aide position:

• Experience working with the elderly and/or physically challenged in a Healthcare setting is required

• Must be creative and compassionate with prior proven experience working as an Activity Assistant

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
