Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Training & development Forklift Operator Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Decatur, AL Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay: $17.00 - 18.00/hour Job Description We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse Transport wood paneling, sheetrock, and other materials to designated locations Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns Maintain accurate inventory movement and storage practices Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Follow all company safety policies and procedures Assist with general warehouse duties as needed Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and productivity Requirements Previous forklift operating experience required Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification) Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials safely Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Benefits Four-day work week (Monday-Thursday) Weekly pay Opportunity for growth and advancement Stable, full-time position in a team-oriented environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Vervic Inc.
