Beverage Alcohol Associate

Location Borden, IN 47106 Position Type Part Time Position Summary The Beverage Alcohol Retail Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests purchasing wine and spirits, ordering at the café counter, and enjoying beverages from the cocktail bar. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and enjoyable experience for all visitors to Huber’s Orchard & Winery. Key Responsibilities Greeting all guests warmly and providing knowledgeable assistance with wine and spirits selections. Processing retail transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Taking customer orders at the café counter in a friendly and timely manner. Preparing and serving beverages behind the cocktail bar in accordance with Huber’s recipes and alcohol service policies. Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation of the retail space, café counter, and bar area. Checking IDs and ensuring responsible alcohol service in compliance with Indiana state laws and company policies. Assisting with stocking, merchandising, and inventory rotation of beverage alcohol products. Maintaining knowledge of Huber’s products, history, and seasonal offerings to enhance the guest experience. Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak business hours and special events. Following all safety and sanitation procedures in food and beverage preparation areas. Performing other duties as assigned to support overall retail and hospitality operations. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous experience in retail, food & beverage, bartending, or customer service preferred. Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails is a plus; willingness to learn is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods as needed.
