Construction Project Engineer

Opportunity with McKinstry McKinstry is looking to add a Construction Project Engineer to our growing Essention DER team in Seattle. Project Coordination As a Project Engineer, you will support the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process, track current and future jobs, review contracts, drawings, and specifications, assist with scheduling, develop scope of work with subcontractors, and prepare monthly financial reporting. Communication You will communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners, and work closely with our project management team to solve problems. Documentation This role will create and respond to requests for information (RFI), develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and submittal documents, process change orders, create billing breakdowns, and conduct estimates. Qualifications BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of construction concepts preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, contracts, proposals, estimates preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite required; working knowledge of Salesforce, ViewPoint, and Accubid preferred. Benefits and Compensation Pay range: $29.55 - $48.89 per hour; this is a non‑exempt hourly role. A bonus may be provided. Pay is based on market location.
