Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

• Experience with McKesson is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Rotablator and venous access. - Rhythm interpretation.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Philips Single and bi-plane angiography preferred. - Children’s Hospital, IV start, phlebotomy, coil embolization, peripherals, inpatient, outpatient, and pacemaker experience preferred. - Teaching Hospital Experience. Community Hospital Experience.

Required Credentials: - EKG onboarding exam required.

Special Requests: - If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. - You must fulfill the full 13 week contract. - Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted at this facility.

Unit Details: - Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. - Interventional, structural, pediatric/congenital, ECMO, heart failure, transplant, Impella, IABP, TAVR, Watchman, PCI, and multiple-device cases.

Shift & Scheduling: - 1 late call per week (5:30p-7:30p). - 1 call shift per week (5:30p-7:00a). - 1-2 call weekends per 6 week schedule (Weekend is Friday, 5:30p - Monday, 7:00a).

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
