CHOPPER/GEL COAT OPERATOR
Rotating shift
5:00 am - 5:30 pm
$22.58 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Applies the proper coat of glass and resin to molds or product according to specific guidelines and instructions
- Adjusts spray gun to ensure adequate wetting of glass, proper weight of resin and glass, thickness, and application of material in a rollable condition
- Maintains an accurate count of ware sprayed, flow of product through the work – process and adheres to standard operating procedures and quality specifications
- Maintains work area , e.g. cleans up, keeps materials, equipment etc. in clean working condition
- Practices and follows all required safety regulations
- Performs all duties as assigned by supervision
- Repetitive heavy lifting
- Applies glass and resin to molds/shells
- Equipment designed for the right hand
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Requires working knowledge of plastic application and spray equipment
- Computer skills required
