Post Doctoral Scholar - Physiology & Cell Biology Job Title: Post Doctoral Scholar - Physiology & Cell Biology Department: Medicine | School Biomedicine Science Physiology and Cell Biology Responsibilities Plan, design, and execute experiments of considerable scope and complexity in the study of the role of innate and adaptive immune system in cardiovascular diseases. Collect and analyze data for research sponsored by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and other agencies. Identify and select problems to study, develop and troubleshoot new experimental techniques and protocols. Attend research seminars and contribute to manuscript preparation and technical writing. Participate in preparation of grant applications for extramural funding. Minimum Education and Skills / Experience Doctoral degree in a biological or health sciences field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in molecular biology techniques, cell signaling pathways, and prior training in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology. Strong preference for a scientific publication record.
