Job Description\n American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: OR - Operating Room\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, rotating\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tulsa, OK 74104\n Start Date: September 28, 2026\n Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma\n Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (10:30 AM - 9:00 PM), 40 hours per week plus call coverage. 36-hour orientation provided.Highlights:\n \n 13-week travel assignment in a busy operating room with 19 rooms and a daily census of 50\n Diverse surgical specialties including Ortho/Spine, Robotics, General Surgery, Urology, Neuro, GYN, and more\n Advanced equipment experience including DaVinci robot, Stealth, O-arm, ION, and specialized surgical tables\n Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams\n Work with all patient age groups from pediatrics through geriatrics\n Weekend requirement of 4 shifts total over two separate weekends during contract\n Requirements:\n \n Active Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission\n Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS\n Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience\n Experience with surgical procedures including laparoscopic cases, orthopedic procedures, thoracotomy, total joint replacements, and urological surgeries\n Knowledge of fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, and universal protocol\n Must reside outside 75-mile local radius\n First-time travelers accepted; previous charge experience preferred\n Why Join Us?\n This travel nursing opportunity offers exposure to a high-volume, multi-specialty operating room environment with cutting-edge technology and comprehensive support services.
