Registered Nurse - Night

Job Title: Registered Nurse Location: Oklahoma City, OK Duration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension) Shift: Day Guaranteed Hours: 36 Roles and Responsibilities Patient Assessment & Care Planning – Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develop individualized care plans, and identify patient/family teaching needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Documentation & Communication – Ensure accurate, timely documentation of assessments and interventions; communicate patient status and changes effectively to physicians, charge nurses, and team members. Direct Patient Care & Education – Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, with a focus on education and encouragement to support rehabilitation goals and quality outcomes. Discharge Planning – Initiate discharge planning from admission, preparing patients and families with teaching and resources for a safe transition. Leadership & Supervision – Delegate tasks, train, and supervise ancillary staff while maintaining a calm, supportive environment and promoting teamwork. Safety & Resource Management – Ensure personal/environmental safety, monitor supplies and equipment, and deliver cost-effective care while supporting positive patient outcomes. Professional Growth & Charge Role – Pursue continuing education for professional development and assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
