Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including triage, assessment, and treatment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and families on treatment plans and healthcare options
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment
• Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and quality improvement
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless transitions of care

Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license
• Must have a minimum One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse, in an Emergency Room setting
• Associates degree in Nursing (ASN) or equivalent, BSN preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or within 1 year of employment
• Ability to work variable 12 hour shifts including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
