Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and identify the most effective treatment approaches. \n
- Develop and tailor individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing trauma recovery and resilience. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address patient needs. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients process their traumatic experiences and develop coping strategies. \n
- Collaborate intimately with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and support for patients during trauma-related emergencies. \n
- Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources. \n
- Maintain stringent confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed practices. \n
- Stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery. \n
Our clinic primarily serves individuals dealing with severe emotional and psychological impacts stemming from trauma, which can manifest in various forms, including PTSD, anxiety disorders, and complex trauma-related issues. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia. \n
- Knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and resilience-building practices. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to client care. \n
- Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management. \n
- Commitment to remaining calm and professional in high-stress situations. \n

- At least two years of clinical experience post-licensure in a mental health setting, particularly in trauma-focused care. \n
- Experience in utilizing trauma-specific therapeutic interventions. \n
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. \n
