Senior Medical Science Liaison, Lupus - LA, TN, IN, OH, MI

Senior Medical Science Liaison role within US Medical Affairs focused on lupus therapies. Engages key medical experts and healthcare professionals across Louisiana, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan to build strategic relationships and advance clinical understanding of Biogen's pipeline and approved treatments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain deep strategic relationships with key medical experts and healthcare professionals
• Develop and execute KME engagement plans aligned to US Medical Affairs strategy and objectives
• Serve as responsive, solutions-driven resource and trusted partner to medical community leaders
• Capture and report KME/HCP medical insights in Veeva with accuracy and consistency
• Deliver against qualitative and quantitative medical excellence performance goals and KPIs

Requirements

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree (NP, PA); doctoral degree strongly preferred (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP)
• 3+ years of rheumatology or dermatology Medical Science Liaison experience
• Reside within assigned territory (LA, TN, IN, OH, MI)
• Effective communication skills; credible, concise, and confident engagement
• Ability to travel at least 60% including overnight and weekend travel
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; authorization to drive company vehicle
• Preferred: clinical experience and expertise in systemic or cutaneous lupus

Compensation: $165,000–$220,500 base
