Civil Concrete Finisher As our Civil Concrete Finisher, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality concrete surfaces through proper placement, finishing, and curing while maintaining safety and precision on the jobsite. Day‑to‑day, you will place and spread concrete, apply finishing techniques (floating, troweling), and complete edges, joints, and surface treatments. You’ll read plans, verify grades and slopes, and ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards while adapting to changing conditions. Experienced team members may handle complex finishing work, mentor others, and help drive quality, productivity, and safe work practices in the field. Successful team members in this role are detail‑oriented, adaptable, and take pride in producing durable, high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment. Your Skills Concrete Placement & Finishing Techniques Surface Treatments, Joints & Edge Work Blueprint & Specification Reading Quality Control & Finish Standards Problem Solving & Adaptability Tool & Equipment Operation Safety Awareness Teamwork & Communication Your Background Previous experience as a concrete finisher in construction environments Strong knowledge of finishing techniques, tools, and quality practices Ability to read and interpret drawings, grades, and specifications Basic math, communication, and problem‑solving skills Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, communication, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding field environment.
