Job Description
- Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Check the production schedule daily to identify slow moving WIP and report potential delays to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of finished orders and provide regular updates on progress.
- Prepare essential paperwork, including production travelers and shipping orders, to keep the workflow moving.
- Monitor shop floor inventory to ensure materials are correctly issued and orders are close out upon completion.
- Log and communicate any changes in material availability, substitutions, or schedule shifts to the production team.
- They don't have ERP, etc type software implemented yet - There will be a lot of manual work with Excel, MS Office.
- Would like to see previous manufacturing experience (supply chain side won't work; will need to be a production environment).
- Candidates do not need to have experience within a large company, but experience in a manufacturing/line operating environment is what we are looking for
- This is a physically demanding role - 70% physical / 3.0% computer.
Education
- Associate's in supply chain or Operations preferred; equivalent experience also acceptable (2 years).
