About This Role The Per Diem RN is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for providing safe, competent, quality care to patients based on nursing theory and research. Highlights Pay: $69/hour Location: Brooklyn, NY Schedule: Per Diem What You’ll Do Conduct nursing assessments based on patient interviews, examinations, and record reviews. Develop goal-oriented care plans with patient involvement. Implement nursing actions consistent with care plans and medical regimens. Demonstrate technical skills reflecting professional nursing knowledge and judgment. Assist in developing and evaluating standards of care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Coordinate patient care activities, including teaching, counseling, and discharge planning. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year RN telemetry Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting. Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse License and current registration in New York State required. BCLS/ACLS certification required. Certification and EKG skills required.
