Order Shipper

The order shipper is responsible for accurately quality checking, packaging, labeling and manifesting customer orders in a manner that meets company standards for quality and productivity. Responsible for the completeness and the accuracy of all orders. Compensation will be $17 an hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Verify box or tote contents match the customers order
• Securely organize and pack product in the appropriate shipping box or envelope
• Remove any unnecessary product labels and/or work orders
• Repack order boxes to the appropriate size when needed
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and work to resolve them
• Sort orders by carrier and ship method
• Identify picking errors sending those order back to the appropriate pick zone
• Gather extra product found in orders to be returned to the inventory dept
• Close carriers daily at the appropriate scheduled time
• Shippers must meet production standards during peak season
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Follow company policies as outlined in the employee handbook
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and stocked with necessary supplies
