Residential HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing residential heating and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service residential HVAC systems.
• Perform seasonal HVAC maintenance, inspections, tune-ups, and system assessments.
• Install, replace, and start up residential HVAC equipment and components.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system performance issues.
• Recommend appropriate repairs, replacements, and system improvements to customers.
• Explain service findings and repair options clearly and professionally.
• Complete accurate service documentation, including work performed and materials used.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and assigned service vehicle.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and company procedures.
• Identify potential system issues and provide recommendations to improve equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer questions and concerns professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while representing the company professionally at customer locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of residential HVAC service and maintenance experience.
• Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems efficiently.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical HVAC systems.
• Hands-on experience with residential heating and air conditioning equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined or physically demanding spaces.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
