Travel OB/GYN Ultrasound Technician - $2,248 per week

Job Description & Requirements We are seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist to work at Lynn, Massachusetts for a 13‑week assignment. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour days. Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Operate the ultrasound machine and ensure images are accurate for physician interpretation. Prepare and care for patients undergoing ultrasound testing. Educate patients and/or their families regarding procedures performed. Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe areas of concern. Prepare the exam room and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and guided biopsies. Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to appropriate medical staff. Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failures. Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements At least 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. BLS certification. ARDMS National Certification; state‑specific licensing as required. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications (ARDMS RDMS AB, RDMS OB/GYN) may be required before assignment. Additional Information Job ID: 1420427.
