Direct Support Professional (Full-Time, Part Time and Per diem shifts available) | The Center of Love and Hope | Fairfield County, CT

The Center of Love and Hope is not your average provider agency. We are a small, intentional team that takes pride in the quality of support we deliver — not the quantity of clients we serve. Every individual in our care matters deeply, and so does every person on our team.
The Opportunity
We are looking for one exceptional Direct Support Professional to work one-on-one with a specific individual, supporting them both in the home and out in the community. This is a full-time role where you will truly get to know someone, invest in their growth, and watch your work make a real difference — every single day.
What Makes Us Different
- You won't be thrown in without support. Our contracted behaviorist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker will train you personally on this individual's specific plan so you feel confident and prepared from day one.
- You will be part of a team that communicates, collaborates, and actually cares about your experience as a staff member.

What You'll Do
- Support daily living skills — cooking, personal care, budgeting, household routines
- Accompany the individual into the community — errands, social activities, recreation, and beyond
- Implement a personalized support plan with consistency, creativity, and heart
- Document services and stay connected with the support team
What You Bring
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
- A valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation
- The ability to pass a DDS background check
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for this work
