Security Officer Position
United Security Services, Inc., a national security company, is seeking professional security officers for an upscale hotel in Renton, Washington. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in security standard operating procedures and safety protocols under the role's responsibility and will be results-driven and focused. We are currently hiring for Flex Officers, as well as weekend (Friday-Sunday) part time roles - this may vary based on operational need.
Security Guard Requirements:
- 2 years of certified security experience.
- Must have an unarmed security license with the State of Washington (DOL)
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.
- Flexible availability Friday – Sunday for PT position, or overall flexible availability for Flex Officer role.
- Able to stand for at least 8 hours
- Capable of lifting and carrying reasonable weight
- Preferred to have experience in hospitality (hotels) or relevant customer service.
Security Guard Responsibilities:
- Patrol all areas of the buildings (door checks/stairwells) and exterior (parking garages/building perimeters).
- Check in guests.
- Respond to incidents on-site, including moving along/trespassing transients.
- Respond to emergencies and alarms.
- Other job responsibilities as needed
$23.75 per hour
Target start date: Immediately.

Part time position- Shifts are available either Friday and Saturday 6PM-2:30AM, or Saturday and Sunday, 2PM-10:30PM for the part time role. (16 hours/week) For the flex/floater role, hours will vary based on operational need.
